Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service performing all of the following: 1) assisting with the oversight of a project’s natural resources or operation and management of park and recreational facilities; AND 2) assisting with the development or implementation of plans for the management of parks and recreation facilities in support of public use; AND 3) working with team members on contract management for operations and maintenance. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Contract Administration Natural Resource Management Planning and Evaluating Program Outreach Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
About the Position: This is a Park Manager, GS-0025-12 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division, Fort Worth District, Operations Division, Capital Regional Office, located in Canyon Lake, TX.
