Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: – Disseminates work taskers and establishes priorities; Forecasts potential requirements, deconflicts problems, and plans and projects time for historically recurring requirements; Researches and coordinates with staff in order to request executive level travel, VIPs, major events, social activities, and speeches; Conducts initial review of incoming correspondence, memoranda, directives, reports, etc. and assigns to the appropriate division for completion; Ensures actions initiated by or assigned to F&BO offices are tracked to keep the supervisor and branch chiefs advised of action activity, status, and suspense dates; Prepares travel orders, hotel reservations, rental cars, and conference registration fees. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Clerical Oral Communication Reasoning Written Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
