Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes operating an automated scheduling system to change/adjust templates based on availability; preparing administrative reports, graphs, and/or charts regarding scheduling issues; and monitoring scheduling trends and/or making recommendations to resolve scheduling conflicts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Computer Skills Oral Communication Technical Credibility Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
About the Position: The person in this position will serve as the Template Technician (OA) that provides a wide variety of administrative/evaluative support. This person will serve as the schedule creator in an automated health care system for the Hospital which includes all primary and specialty health care clinics and providers.
