You must meet the Basic Requirements listed in the “Education Requirements” section and the “Specialized Experience” to qualify for , as described below. Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-13, in the Federal Service. Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA’s) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. You must have all of the specialized experience for this position described below: – Managing transformation and/or change management projects linked to state and/or Federal Unemployment Insurance (UI) programs; – Leading, directing, and assigning work of personnel; – Establishing and managing resources and administrative activities to include strategic relationships with various stakeholders, which may include federal agencies, associations, state and local governments, and the private sector; and – Interpreting state and/or Federal Unemployment Compensation (UC) law and providing recommendations for policies and initiatives related to UI programs.
