To qualify, no specific length of experience or training is required. However, you must show evidence of experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality that demonstrates your ability to perform the duties of a Maintenance Mechanic. The position requires knowledge, skill and abilities in various trades of work such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding/metal fabrication, painting and general knowledge of electronics and equipment. Candidates must show experience at the level of difficulty and responsibility appropriate to the position. Position is within the Air Traffic Organization, Technical Operations, and reports to the District System Support Centers. Incumbent will serve as a Maintenance Mechanic for Washington District SSC, WES12-ZDC.
