For the GS-11 Grade Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing a wide-range of administrative support and executive direction for all office administrative operations by analyzing, organizing, and managing information, materials, and documents. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Applying conventional and complex fact finding, analytical and problem-solving methods and techniques to gather, analyze and evaluate all incoming actions which may include policies, regulations and procedural changes of an operational nature; 2) Applying knowledge of pertinent laws, policies, and precedents, major issues, program goals, and work processes to support management’s philosophy and requirements of the organization; 3) Participating and coordinating conferences and meetings with staff representatives of other agencies and serving as liaison with such officials during their visits; 4) Providing administrative management and technical support in the form of office supply management, calendar maintenance/scheduling, and travel planning and coordination utilizing Defense Travel System (DTS); and 5) Preparing briefings, reports, slides, forms, and other correspondence, etc. using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
