Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 performing duties such as: 1) Solving and coordinating specific, difficult air vehicle engineering issues (Propulsion) requiring substantial analysis and evaluation of causes, effects and alternatives. 2) Serving as a technical expert in the area of Propulsion, solving extremely complex problems and providing authoritative technical advice and instructions. 3) Developing Fleet Support Team (FST) workforce through training and mentorship, IDP development for short- and long-term goal setting. 4) Maintaining contact with senior specialists, technical experts from other sectors (military and private industry) and communities of practice to represent the activity concerning workload requirements, workforce development, certification paths, and with respect to complex technical challenges. 5) Providing expert advice, corrective action, and instructions concerning the processing or repair of aircraft materials, parts, aircraft engines, and/or assemblies undergoing periodic rework, overhaul, repair, or modification on all aircraft or weapons systems programs.
