Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying and interpreting regulations, directives, policies, precedents, and procedures associated with organizational operations, in order to provide technical guidance and to establish management’s position on administrative and programmatic issues. Experience working with automated knowledge management and business process automation systems, sufficient to make recommendations on technical solutions to address organizational challenges. Experience managing teams or work groups comprised of contractors, business process owners, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
This position is located with the U.S. Department of State, Office of the Inspector General (OIG), which has statutory oversight responsibility covering the Department, the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM), and the International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC). The incumbent serves as the Director of the Inspection Operations Division within OIG’s Office of Inspections.
