Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade (GS/GG-12) in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Analyzing defense intelligence topics, including infrastructure, cyber, or human terrain to determine Foreign Intelligence Entity threats to US interests. Utilizes experience with the National Industrial Security Program and the DoD Personnel Security Program process sufficient to correlate counterintelligence issues emerging in cleared industry. Identify, review and interpret new data sources and combine information from disparate sources to help Stakeholders understand their mission environment through intelligence production. Utilize IC-standard intelligence and production tools, databases, techniques, and intelligence information systems to achieve required mission objectives. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1. Researching: Identifies a need for and knows where or how to gather information. Obtains, evaluates, organizes, and maintains information. 5. Counterintelligence: Support activities that protect against espionage, other intelligence activities, sabotage, or assassinations conducted for or on behalf of foreign powers, organizations or persons, or terrorist activities.
DCSAs Counterintelligence (CI) Directorate is seeking highly motivated CI professional to serve as a CI Analyst to identify, assess threats to DCSA, trusted workforce, and cleared industry. In this role you will serve as a SME responsible for providing analytical products involving all-source intelligence analysis on Foreign Intelligence entities (FIE) posing threats to US national security and integrating intelligence data to generate coherent analysis and reports.
