ASSESSMENT FACTORS 1. Demonstrates the ability to manage small teams to complete the development of written studies and projects on complex topics. 2. Demonstrates highly developed and independent professional judgment in the conduct of inspections and evaluations. 3. Analyzes key information and evaluates the effectiveness of alternative solutions, courses of action, and strategies needed to address complex, controversial, and multi-faceted issues. 4. Plans, organizes, prioritizes, and schedules work unit activities to complete assignments in a timely and effective manner. 5. Takes initiative to anticipate issues, resolves conflict among multiple priorities, and implements effective solutions to prevent problems that might impact timelines and deliverables. HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1. Prior supervisory experience; establishing and enforcing work standards and objectives; recognizing employee potential and guiding employees in developing professional skills; planning, organizing, prioritizing, scheduling, and overseeing work unit activities. 2. Experience applying CIGIE Quality Standards for Inspections and Evaluations “Blue Book” or GAGAS performance audit standards associated with the Federal oversight community to multiple projects, and conducting oversight of the Intelligence Community or DoD Apparatus, or ability to learn. 3. Experience leveraging alternative approaches, operational flexibility, and resourcefulness to effectively meet rapidly changing deadlines; and leading or coaching developmental employees, subject matter experts, and uniformed personnel in a matrixed environment. Basic Requirements: You must possess 1 year of specialized experience at the level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the next lower qualifying band or equivalent GS/GG level, which is directly related to the position being filled. Your experience must demonstrate possession of the necessary knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position.
