In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Applying knowledge of theories and principles of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning, development, and execution sufficient to coordinate and integrate functions into total, well-structured viable program. Interpreting, adapting and applying Logistics guidelines as it pertains to assigned specializations and functions.; and to independently analyze and resolve difficult inventory management issues and problems, and to consider and apply several alternatives. Applying knowledge of specialized analytical methods and techniques to resolve difficult inventory management issues and problems; and budgeting, procurement, and funding processes related to inventory management functions. OR EDUCATION: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or successfully completed three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related to the position being filled. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: I have a combination of experience and graduate level education as described above. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Thorough knowledge of inventory management regulations, policies, procedures, techniques, and work methods applicable to assigned Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) systems. 2. Knowledge of sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance or advice to Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) supply and system problems. 3. Knowledge of policies and procedures for requisitioning and issuing materials and maintaining control of system privileges. 4. Knowledge of procedure and precautions to be taken in the Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) distribution and operation to meet required security and safety standards. 5. Knowledge of Tier 1 and Tier 2 operations, including knowledge of the systems and used execute all tasks, including the procedures, processes and policy must be followed. 6. Knowledge of requirements to interact with requesters, verify or obtain information, and operate the Tier 1 System to affect the required short title changes and key material distribution actions. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
