ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

For the GS-12 Grade Level: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Engineer providing subject matter expertise or guidance in the design, development, testing, maintenance, or sustainment of shipboard electrical systems (e.g. power generation, power distribution, circuits, shipboard automation, or control and sensing systems) for naval surface ships or submarines. For the GS-11 Grade Level:Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Engineer applying electrical engineering principles in the design, development, testing, maintenance, or sustainment of shipboard electrical systems (e.g. power generation, power distribution, circuits, shipboard automation, and control and sensing systems) for naval surface ships or submarines.
