You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service that is directly related to the position to be filled and has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as: Applying Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws, regulations, policies, procedures; AND Preparing a variety of narrative and statistical reports outlining complaint activities and other special reports as needed. For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service that is directly related to the position to be filled and has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as: Applying Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws, regulations, policies, procedures; AND Coordinating and tracking documents and case records regarding accommodations. OR You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. Attach a copy of transcript with a list of college courses designating semester or quarter hours earned to ensure proper credit. OR You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions. This is creditable providing the combination consists of 100% of the requirement. Only graduate level education in excess of 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.
