This position has a Selective Placement Factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE). Your license or registration must be held in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Do you meet this requirement? A copy of a wall certificate that does not have an expiration date will not serve to verify this requirement Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinating/directing the work of architects and engineers in the structural design of shore installation facility projects; 2) Preparing and/or directing the preparation of working drawings, construction drawings, specifications, and details of structural features; 3) Reviewing designs, plans, specifications, and design analysis prepared by others for compliance with design requirements and established policies; 4) Serving as a technical expert in the field of civil/structural engineering; and 5) Providing post construction award services (PCAS) which includes reviewing and approving of contractors submittals for conformance with the requirements of the contract drawings and specifications. **NOTE** This information must be clearly supported in your resume. You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CIVIL ENGINEER (STRUCTURAL) in the CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS BUSINESS LINE (CIBL) of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.
