GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate the ability to: 1) Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) Plan and organize work; and 3) Communicate effectively orally and in writing. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing effective methods and procedures of facilitating conflict resolution or defining Equal Employment Opportunity issues within an organization; 2) Suggesting resolutions to complaints by employing innovative techniques to problem solving; 3) Analyzing reports, charts, and data to help provide insight into critical hiring issues within an organization; and 4) Gathering and organizing factual information (i.e., policies, guidelines, files, data, etc.) to assist with EEO complaint processes and procedures.
