Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Knowledge of engineering theories, concepts, new developments, and principles of engineering and related technical disciplines such as fire safety, fire protection, fire risk and hazards, and fire dynamics. 2) Technical skill and communication ability to develop engineering technical drawings, sketches, direction, procedures, instructions, written reports and letters, and briefs for all levels of leadership. 3) Knowledge of a wide range of industrial ship maintenance and overhaul concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations sufficient to lead action related to fire safety.
