QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

GS-1910-07 For this quality assurance specialist position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized quality assurance specialist experience equivalent to the next lower GS-05 Grade Level or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience for this position includes: 1) Applying Quality Assurance procedures, standardized rules, and techniques associated with the implementation of the Quality Assurance programs. 2) Utilizing understanding of rework procedures, documentation and technical specifications relative to the rework of aircraft, engines, components, accessories and associated logs and records. 3) Assisting in evaluating and/or publishing a variety of Quality data generated within and external to Quality Competency such as Discrepancy Work Orders, Quality Deficiency Reports (QDR), Quality Audit Reports, etc. GS-1910-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrating practical knowledge in monitoring, controlling, or maintaining the quality of products or services in quality assurance, procurement, inspection, production, or related areas such as Aircraft Ordnance. 2) Reviewing production activities and capabilities in light of contract quality requirements. 3) Review written quality or inspection procedures for adequacy, and evaluating the implementation and effectiveness of quality/inspection systems, including sampling plans. 4) Computing data, summarizing results, and preparing reports or charts depicting pertinent relationships using statistical methods.
