You may qualify at the NH-04 broadband level if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Experience applying systems acquisition processes, policies, procedures, and practices necessary to develop and assess technical and economic feasibility, including cost, schedule and performance, OR Communication (oral and written) skills and corresponding ability to research, plan, coordinate and brief actions in support of leadership goals, objectives and vision OR Management principals to work and across executive staff, joint staff, commands, agencies and the services OR Experience with complex weapon systems and equipment or closely related systems and equipment, development, procurement and life-cycle management leadership in order to develop and implement successful integrated BMDS acquisition and operational polices, plans and assessment OR Acquisition policy, planning and assessment and corresponding ability to exercise assigned duties in an organization with acquisition, R&D mission Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
