About the Position: This Position is located at Head Quarters (HQ) Communications Electronics Command Integrated Support Center Security Assistance Management Directorate. Position will serve as a Branch Chief within the Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD). The pay band NH-04 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-14/15. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-12/13 grade level equivalent) in the Federal service which includes 1) Executing processes, policies, and procedures of Foreign Military Sales (FMS); 2) Knowledge of the procurement process, policies, and procedures 3) Knowledge of budgeting policy and procedures; 4) Demonstrated ability leading, planning, and assessing the work of teams in carrying out assigned technical or administrative responsibilities.
