To qualify for this position, ALL applicants MUST meet the following criteria: (1) have a JD Degree from an accredited law school; and (2) be admitted to practice before the bar of any U.S. jurisdiction or within the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico; and (3) be an active member of that bar; and (4) at least one full year of specialized experience in the work performed at the next lower grade level (FV-J/K or GS-14/15) for this occupational series. The specialized experience for this position is defined as: Experience directing and executing plans, programs, policies, or projects in a professional or legal environment; and Experience providing legal advice and assistance on a full range of fiscal law matters (i.e., use of appropriated funds, the Anti-Deficiency Act, appropriations, continuing resolutions, reauthorizations, or lapses in funding or authority). As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the managers individual performance, and available funding. Serves as a managing attorney within the Office of the Chief Counsel, Acquisition & Fiscal Law Division (AGC-500).
