PHYSICAL SCIENCE TECHNICIAN

For the GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector planning, coordinating, and executing radiological control (RADCON) surveillances of nuclear operations to assess potential problems and enforce adherence to establish policies, procedures, and radiological control concepts; preparing technical reports of findings; and providing on-the-job coaching and mentoring of junior RADCON personnel. For the GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector executing radiological control (RADCON) surveillances of nuclear operations to assess potential problems and enforce adherence to establish policies, procedures, and radiological control concepts; and recommending changes to work plans or procedures to improve radiological controls, correct deficiencies, and minimize exposure to radiation.
