Minimum Qualification Requirements: To qualify for this position you must meet either (A) General/Specialized Experience, (B) Education, or (C) Combination of Education and Experience for the grade to which you are applying. GS-4: A. General Experience: To qualify for the GS-04 level, all applicants must possess at least one full year of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled. -OR- B. Education: Two full academic years (60 semester hours) beyond high school at an accredited institution. -OR- C. Combination of education and experience: A combination of education and experience that totals 100% of the required general experience. GS-5: A. Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-5, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-4 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience: 1) Utilizing an automated system to prepare or create documents, spreadsheets and/or correspondence; AND 2) Tracking various types of information to provide status updates and ensure deadlines are met; AND 3) Reviewing documents for completeness and compliance with established guidelines; AND 4) Maintaining electronic and hard copy files. MUST MEET ALL. -OR- B. Education: At least four FULL academic years (120 semester hours) beyond high school at an accredited institution. -OR- C. Combination of education and experience: A combination of education and experience that totals 100% of the required specialized experience.
