ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN

To qualify for the ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN, GS-0856-09, your resume must demonstrate at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience installing, testing and maintaining complex electronics equipment; Experience analyzing instructions for the repair, modification and maintenance of equipment and related test-set equipment; Experience diagnosing equipment malfunctions through the use of system analysis, test equipment and schematics; Experience analyzing system, equipment or component operations to verify performance is within designated certification parameters.
