GS-13: To be eligible at the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience overseeing and/or personally performing complex litigation support services for an agency or organization. Examples of specialized experience include: providing technical advice to litigation teams on legal automation requirements; diagnosing and resolving litigation support computer system problems and customizing databases and programs to meet individual user needs; analyzing automated litigation support functions and recommending changes to increase system efficiency and effectiveness; providing support to team members on their use of litigation technology applications (e.g., document review databases. Courtroom presentation software, etc.); or recommending a variety of software packages including databases, spreadsheets and word processing applications based on which software would be most effective for presentation of complex and voluminous evidence or for production of graphic demonstrative evidence.
