Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: – Experience providing guidance to senior leadership on management and organization theories, with a specific focus on intelligence and law enforcement programs; – Experience developing and implementing performance metrics to measure program effectiveness, identify problem areas and deficiencies, and formulate improvement; – Experience conducting comprehensive studies and analyses designed to evaluate and improve management policies and practices; – Experience conducting thorough research, using sounding judgement, and providing strategic recommendations on sensitive management challenges throughout the organization. There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-14 position.
This position is located in the Directorate of Operations, which provides support operations for the Office of Protection, Office of Domestic Facilities Protections, and Office of Investigations, Office of Counterintelligence, Office of Special Investigations, and Office of Field Office Management. You will serve as the point of contact to the Assistant Director of Domestic Operations with providing expert knowledge on personnel regulations, policy, organization structure and performance.
