Program Analyst (Travel Programs)

You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: In-depth experience as a DoD Government Travel Charge Card Component Program Manager or DoD Government Travel Charge Card Agency Program Coordinator. Develop and establish policies, procedures, and standards for the DOD Travel Card Program. Use qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of the DoD Travel Card Program; OR Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
This position is part of the Defense Human Resources Activity. The incumbent will be responsible for providing authoritative advice and assistance to the DTMO. Provides expert technical expertise and knowledge as it relates to monitoring, scheduling, and implementing travel card policies and initiatives. The incumbent of this position serves as a travel card program analyst and subject matter expert on issues relating to the Travel Card Program.
