PROGRAM ANALYST
Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff - Department of Defense
You may qualify at the GS- 14 grade level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Providing specific resourcing recommendations to senior leaders using departmental defense planning processes and procedures, including awareness of Combatant Commands and military services; Incorporating advanced management and organizational principles and practices to the planning, programming, and budgeting regulations for military command facilities planning, and acquisitions; Articulating to senior leaders the impact and effect of program management decisions in Joint command and control environments. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the Branch Chief and Division Chief through the performance of functions to guide and assess tasks and deliverables to develop and sustain joint and multinational Combined Joint All-Domain C2 concepts and capabilities.
