Naval Intelligence Command - Department of the Navy
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluating tradecraft quality, coaching, mentoring, and training all analysts at all levels to include tradecraft and analytic standards and presentation structure; 2) Leading and managing the execution of a command or agency’s program to audit finished intelligence products IAW applicable requirements; 3) Representing the command or agency at intelligence community forums, and leading IC and command/agency production and tradecraft working groups as appropriate; 4) Providing or supporting the initial and periodic refresher training of analysts, SME’s and Division/Department Heads across the command and centers to ensure that they are familiar with post-production AIS evaluation process and the principles and tenants of analytic tradecraft; and, 5) Serving as the primary representative with external stakeholders from across the community of practice (IC, Government, Allies, public, & academic.) You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist in the Intelligence Cycle Management Department (N2) of OFFICE OF NAVAL INTELLIGENCE. All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
