Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have at least one year of Management Analyst specialized experience equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent pay band or equivalent experience in the private sector that demonstrates a thorough knowledge and skill in applying management principles, organizational theory, analytical, statistical and evaluative methods and techniques to improve program effectiveness and/or organizational productivity and to provide change management expertise necessary to plan and implement Category Management initiatives that affect Navy Budgeting Submitting Office’s (BSO’s). I have experience applying a thorough knowledge of business process analysis principles and policies as well as experience with management principles, organizational theory and techniques of analysis and evaluation to improve program effectiveness and/or organizational productivity. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Providing advice to management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducts special studies, proposes options and alternatives;2) Coordinate the efforts of others and organizational skills to gather written inputs from a number of individuals and prepare cohesive, organized written reports; 3) Analyze metrics and program data in order to provide recommendations on the appropriate goals and objectives of the Division; 4) Analyze and evaluate the impact of category management policy changes, and review standards and techniques to resolve encountered problems; 5) Provides recommendations on the appropriate program goals and objectives, Assesses constraints to success, monitors performance, analyzes metrics and program data, and make recommendations on process improvements; and 6 ) Prepare and deliver briefings to managers on study findings and recommendations at meetings and conferences.
