Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision. Knowledge of the federal budget process and financial management practices and procedures.** Ability to apply financial management processes and techniques.** Ability to perform financial activities.** Ability to apply analytical methods and techniques to identify and resolve financial and/or auditing information. Ability to gather, compile, and analyze financial and/or auditing information. Ability to provide assistance and consultation on financial matters, issues, and data. Ability to communicate in writing. Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.

This is a non-supervisory, bargaining unit position. The salary range indicated reflects the locality pay adjustment for the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan area. Relocation expenses will not be authorized for the person(s) selected under this vacancy announcement.
