SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) or pay band NM-04 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional MECHANICAL OR AEROSPACE ENGINEER: Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluate adequacy of rotorcraft analysis for designs and modifications; 2) Identify rotorcraft structural problems arising during development or modification of an aircraft and establish the optimal approach to solve the problems; 3) Thorough, in-depth knowledge of engineering principles and practices including rotorcraft structural design and analysis, test methods and data analysis; 4) General knowledge of aircraft structural static and fatigue strength requirements, aerodynamics, stability and control, performance, and flight control systems. 5) Ability to solve in-service aircraft structural problems under trying and immediate circumstances.
