ELECTRIC POWER CONTROLLER

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Distributing and controlling electrical distribution systems; 2) Operating switchboards to remotely control circuit breakers, transformers and switches in order to regulate and maintain proper voltage on the distribution lines; 3) Interpreting operating instructions and distribution equipment operating criteria to determine when to adjust the taps on a transformer in order to maintain voltage on the feeder. You will serve as a ELECTRIC POWER CONTROLLER in the Utilities and Energy Branch of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC – assigned to PWD NSA HAMPTON ROADS.
