In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying technical expertise in electric/mechanical/civil concepts to support utilities engineering and construction projects; 2) Supporting potable water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection systems; 3) Preparing scopes of work for construction, alteration, installation, maintenance or repair of utility water and sewer systems and/or equipment while working independently with a variety of stakeholders; 4) Interpreting engineering theory, design parameters, applicable codes and regulations as applied to utility distribution to support engineering work in conjunction with utility systems design operation application and energy use management; and 5) Providing utility designs of new facilities, additions/modernization of existing facilities while utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and utility monitoring systems; such as SCADA or utility controls.
