FOR THE GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate that you have successfully completed the basic education requirement. FOR THE GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector with professional engineering experience understanding, demonstrating and completing limited engineering or architectural designs and projects; carrying out, interpreting, and explaining basic computations and calculations; and reading, understanding, manipulating, analyzing, interpreting, and conveying findings. FOR THE GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector with professional engineering experience understanding, demonstrating and completing limited engineering or architectural designs and projects. FOR THE GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector with professional engineering experience researching, interpreting, and carrying out engineering assignments; and providing technical input on the planning, design, construction, testing, or maintenance of projects. FOR THE GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector with professional engineering experience researching, interpreting, and carrying out engineering assignments; providing technical input on the planning, design, construction, testing, or maintenance of projects; and collecting and analyzing engineering data to solve problems, develop reports, and provide recommendations.
