Selective Placement Factor (SPF): This position has an SPF which is current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) from any state, the District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico. If you meet this requirement, you must provide a copy of your current registration with your application. In addition to the SPF and basic requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Providing technical and authoritative direction and consultation to Electrical Engineers; 2) Defining cost effective approaches to the operations and maintenance of utility services; and 3) Analyzing and developing utility projects and services to ensure all regulatory policy and requirements are followed.
