To qualify for the position of Administrative Specialist, (GS-0301-9), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to the series and grade you are applying to. To qualify for the GS-0301-09, you MUST meet the following specialized experience: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting on special projects as necessary with regards to office policies and procedures AND advising management or staff in the interpretation or application of administrative procedures. -OR- Have a master’s or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. -OR- Some specialized experience as described above, but less than one year; and have more than one year but less than two years of education as described in B. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify). You MUST meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 10/21/2024. This position serves as an Administrative Specialist, located in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), National Security Division (NSD) in Washington, D.C. NSD is responsible for developing, enforcing, and supervising the application of all federal criminal laws related to the national counterterrorism and counterintelligence enforcement programs, except those specifically assigned to other divisions.
