Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in and knowledge of vehicle management programs. Work experience must include enough knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance sufficient to detect and recommend corrections to unsafe, inefficient, and/or improper safety and serviceability issues. Familiarity with warehouse operations, able to operate a forklift, hand dollies, pallet jacks and hand tools is preferred. Requires computer aptitude and working knowledge of business software. Requires frequent standing, stooping, bending, stretching, crawling under vehicles, and working in tight spaces. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Requires a valid state driver’s license. Must hold a current state CDL or be able to obtain one within 6 months. Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug test. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). “This is a drug testing position. About the position: This position will be assigned to the 773 FSS Logistics on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK . Regular Full-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 35 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week.
