In addition to meeting the educational requirements specified below: You must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I, FG/GS-13 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized Experience is defined as: Experience testing and analyzing frequencies, bandwidths, and equipment to provide for providing recommendations for improvements to aeronautical systems. AND Experience using technical software and programs such as LabWindows, LabView, and Microsoft Visual Studio to develop automated radio frequency electronic test scenarios. This position serves as an Electronics Engineer who applies a depth of knowledge and understanding of the theories, concepts, and principles of electronic circuits, radio frequency propagation, and equipment to test and analyze radio frequencies and equipment. This position is critical to the safe and efficient operation of the National Airspace System (NAS).
