Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Researching and interpret various civilian Federal human resources laws, regulations, and policies to resolve difficult and/or controversial staffing issues; 2) Developing and deliver training modules and/or guidance materials to ensure Federal civilian staffing programs are being executed properly; 3) Identifying operational problem areas and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy and/or quality of civilian human resources staffing services; 4) Advising employees, supervisors and managers about administrative/staffing requirements including resources, recruiting and regulatory requirements; and 5) Identifying long and short range staffing plans to meet forecasted organizational requirements, human capital losses, and career development patterns. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Personnel and Human Resources Staffing and Recruiting Teambuilding Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade, time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
About the Position: This position will serve as a Lead Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment and Placement) for the Army Material Command Directorate, IMCOM Civilian Human Resources Service Center.
