To qualify at the GS-13 Federal grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience, as reflected in their resume, at or equivalent to the GS-12 level: assessing and evaluating international development programs or projects; writing briefing papers or cables to support an international development program or project; conducting briefings for various program stakeholders; and developing detailed plans and objectives for the implementation and administration of a long-term international development program or project. To qualify at the GS-14 Federal grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience, as reflected in their resume, at or equivalent to the GS-13 level: implementing international development programs or projects; conducting briefings for various program stakeholders; advising foreign law enforcement practitioners on policies and programs; and developing detailed plans and objectives for the implementation and administration of a long-term international development program or project. Selective Placement Factor: To qualify for this position, applicants must be proficient in (English) writing. An applicant’s proficiency in (English) writing will be assessed through an online (USA Hire) writing assessment. Applicants who do not display a minimum level of proficiency on the USA Hire Writing Assessment will be ineligible for further consideration. Time-in-Grade: Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements for consideration by the closing date of this announcement.
The International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) works with foreign governments to develop professional and transparent law enforcement institutions that protect human rights, combat corruption, and reduce the threat of transnational crime and terrorism. ICITAP supports both national security and foreign policy objectives and works in close partnership with the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and the Department of Defense.
