Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing a full range of mail processing and routing operations by operating automated machinery, delivering correspondence and mail, and applying a knowledge of a wide variety of Agency and US Postal System policies and regulations that govern the flow of mail communications. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Receive, sort, collect, meter postage, process, deliver, and direct the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail; 2) Operate electronic/automated mail processing equipment, and other postal and mail center equipment; 3) Use basic job-relevant information systems and/or software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, automated research tools, database applications, and the internet; 4) Assist customers with routine requests. You will serve as a Mail Assistant in the Mail Facility of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE.
