Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band (NO-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following: 1.) Assisting the Director, IEO in all aspects of managing international collaboration forums; 2.) Researching, developing and providing supporting analysis for Flag/SES level briefings and decisions regarding engagement with international partners; 3.) Assisting in the development of international cooperation engagement strategies, strategy documents, and program plans intended to encourage stronger international collaboration; 4.) Assisting with planning, coordination and execution of various OPNAV, ONR, and ONR Global outreach and communication efforts to internal and external audiences; and 5.) Engaging with foreign government personnel, attaches and counselors at foreign embassies, military personnel, and scientists and engineers at foreign research organizations to facilitate international collaboration. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
