You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-14 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-13 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes: – Serving as a key advisor to a senior official on issues/matters concerning organizational and public communications-related programs and advising all levels within the organization on communications-related issues, including external messaging and outreach; AND – Establishing and maintaining constructive relations with departmental contacts to review, update or create web content through a website governance program; AND – Providing strategic communications guidance and recommendations to organizational senior leadership. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
