Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, and specialized experience as defined below. Time in grade: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade to be considered for the next higher grade (e.g. one year at the GS-14 grade level for consideration for the GS-15 grade level.). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. For the GS-15 level: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-14 level) that demonstrates: Adjusting training to improve professional development based on updates to organizational missions. Updating professional development training requirements within my organization based on customer feedback. Planning, designing, and/or coordinating projects, studies and initiatives related to the management and delivery of technical training for employees. Exercising broad delegations of authorities and flexibilities for assuring efficient and effective management of financial, human, and other resources in support of your programs mission. Experience leading a team. Evaluating policies designed for leader development. Formulating and implementing policies and programs for management or supervisor development.
This position is located in the office of Employee Experience and Development (OEED). OEED is responsible for the development and delivery of all workforce training, programming that supports modernization initiatives, and enhanced employee engagement. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement all employee training, development, and engagement activities for the Agency. .
