Current Civilian Employees of the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 407th Army Field Support Brigade, Fort Carson Logistics Readiness Center, within the local commuting area. Consideration will also be given to current Department of Army Civilian employees with competitive status. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Planning, directing, and/or coordinating transportation support services related to the movement of personnel, freight, and/or personal property; 2) Analyzing transportation policies, programs, and/or procedures; 3) Identifying methods to improve the effectiveness of an organization’s transportation or traffic management operations; and 4) Resolving transportation and/or traffic management problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Data Analysis and Decision Making Financial Management Planning and Evaluating Transportation Policy and Regulation Transportation Traffic Management and Distribution Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
