SUPERVISORY ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Providing oversight to a Hazardous Waste Management program and providing direct supervision to waste operation management facilities; (2) Advising on the implementation of environmental compliance programs and activities with consideration of federal, state, and local laws; (3) Determining and establishing needs, objectives, exercising decisions, prioritizing programs, scheduling and commitment of resources to attain departmental goals; (4) Developing annual budget obligations plans, tracking execution, validating and reconciling disparities and identifying shortfalls and obligation trends through the chain of command; and (5) Providing program, division, and directorate representation at relevant meetings, conferences, and discussions with federal, state, and local governmental regulatory agencies and contractors. You will serve as a Supervisory Environmental Protection Specialist of the Hazardous Waste Compliance Section within the Environmental Security Department of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
