To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications and/or education for the grade at which you are requesting consideration. Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level in the federal service or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the private sector reviewing work assignments associated complex civil litigation, oversee the preparation of legal pleadings, briefs, motions and formal legal memoranda; provide investigative and paralegal services and advise staff on research, drafting and preparation of court filings, and the drafting and filing of statutory and consensual liens. Examples include: providing technical expertise to paralegal specialists preparing and filing statutory and consensual liens, complaints, affidavits, declarations, memoranda of law, trusteeship applications, agreements, policies, procedures, stipulations, motions, orders, proofs of claim, and other types of pleadings. Time-In-Grade Requirement: In order to be eligible for this position, all current Federal employees must provide proof of meeting the time-in-grade requirement (i.e., at least 52 weeks of experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service). This information must be in both your resume and on an SF-50. Those who do not provide proof of having met the time-in-grade requirement will be deemed ineligible for this position. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
