You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for this position at the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at a GS-12 level or equivalent. Experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as experience: Designing and facilitating professional development programs for educators at the K-12 level that includes best practices for integrating primary resources and archival material into classroom instruction.; AND Creating educational curriculum that integrates primary resources and archival materials for students at the K-12 level. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable (as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F): For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. Incumbent serves as an Educational Information Officer in the Education Programs Division (LE). Leads NARAs cornerstone civic education initiative, including monitoring the program to ensure relevant success metrics are achieved across Public Museum Engagement and Legislative Archives.
