Specialized experience is further defined as experience with assisting with property management to include computer equipment and information technology systems; provides fleet management knowledge to district; OR one (1) year of graduate education or meet the requirement for Superior Academic Achievement (S.A.A) See OPM Quals Standard-General Policies E(4)(f); OR combination of education and specialized experience as described above and in the vacancy announcement. Specialized experience is further defined as experience with oversight and maintenance operations for an office building, real and personal property and fleet program; performs routine aspects of space and building management functions; provide direction to office personnel on building, fleet and property issues. –OR– have completed a master’s or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related to the field of financial management, business administration or accounting; –OR– have a combination of education and specialized experience as described above and in the vacancy announcement. Combination of Education and Experience: You may meet qualifications requirement for this position with an equivalent combination of specialized experience and appropriate undergraduate/ graduate education. Graduate level education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position. Superior Academic Achievement (See OPM’s General Policies, Application of Qualification Standards Section 4.f.) S.A.A. must have been gained in a curriculum that is qualifying for the position to be filled. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade requirement in accordance with 5 CFR 300.604. If you are a current Federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must have completed a minimum of 52 weeks at the next lower grade level. Physical Demands: The physical requirements are those generally associated with an office or warehouse environment. The work requires sitting, standing, bending, walking, driving, and occasionally lifting and moving supplies and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds. The incumbent operates a variety of motor vehicles and forklifts. Situations can be expected to dictate working out in the open or in less comfortable surroundings and a variety of field locations. Work Environment: Work is normally performed in an office or warehouse setting. Incumbent may be required to be out of doors in unfavorable conditions relating supply, real and personal property, warehouse and fleet management duties. Relocation/Recruitment Incentive: This position is offering a Relocation/Recruitment Incentive, 10% of the annual salary. To be eligible for a Relocation Incentive, you must be a current Federal Employee and the selectee must be employed with the Federal Government and the selectees current duty location is more than 50 miles from the duty location of this position. To be eligible for a Recruitment Incentive, selectee must not be employed by the Federal Government. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees.
