In order to qualify for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform successfully the duties of the position such as: Expert experience assessing an organization’s compliance with established standards and experience assessing surface ships in areas such as aviation, force protection, tactical readiness, and damage control. Experience directing, planning, supervising, and coordinating the administrative work efforts of subordinates engaged in fleet-wide (agency-wide) assessment and qualifications of surface and aviation readiness for ships. Experience with world-wide logistics, strategic sealift, and special mission support, directing the surface and aviation assessments and qualification processes to ensure crews are trained to meet Required Operation Capabilities (ROC) of surface and aviation readiness for ships. Experience developing and maintaining policy modifications for Training and Readiness Manuals, Aviation Readiness Manuals, and other requirement policies and decisions, risks and impacts of a Readiness program. Experience in managing, leading and supervising subordinate personnel both in person and in a telework/remote work environment.
